Jan Hardwick

I have always loved drawing and painting and my work now is often inspired by our travels throughout Australia and particularly north western Victoria. I was born in Melbourne and for many years attended art classes conducted by Berice Ireland, a tonal oil artist from the Max Meldrum school. Gaining knowledge and technique, I was successful in various exhibitions in Melbourne, including being judged and hung at The Camberwell Rotary Club Exhibition. We moved to Perth a number of years ago before retiring to Denmark in 2001 and was one of the inaugural members of the Mill Art Group. I have also exhibited in the PLC Perth art exhibition over the past few years.
